Spink County Shooting Sports 12 And Up Team Qualifies For National Tournament
The Spink County Shooting Sports 12 and up team qualified for the national BB gun tournament at the Mitchell Jaycees tournament on Saturday, April 1, 2006. Team members include Jamie Lutter, Redfield; Savannah Hansen, Redfield; Tony Lyren, Conde; Korey Lambert, Frankfort; and Kyle Owens, Redfield. Team alternates will be Christian Lewis, Doland; and Colin Blume, Frankfort. The team will attend the national tournament in Bowling Green, KY June 29-July 2, 2006.
Donations to help the team meet expenses are being accepted and may be sent to Jim Hansen, Spink County Shooting Sports Club, 16277 399th Ave., Turton, SD 57477.

In recognition of the 50 year closing of the Turton High School and to celebrate Turton's 120th year, plans are being made to gather all Turton Frogs for a 2nd Frogville Celebration. Join us under the big tent on main street June 23rd - 25th, 2006.
