How we supported our local businesses! Grow Spink is teamed up with KQKD to host Shop Spink. This campaign was created to help those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. 

​

Community members purchased $25 gift cards or gift certificates to participating Spink County businesses. 

​

A radiothon took place April 27th on Pure Country 99.9FM/1380AM from 8am to 3pm. During this time purchases were matched thanks to generous donors. 

 

 Thank you to the Redfield School for allowing us to utilize their phone lines for this event!

*Match Limit - $500 per household, up to $100 per business

​

Online payments opened Tuesday April 28th through May 3rd on the Grow Spink website. 

​

Once the campaign was complete gift cards were mailed to each buyer. 

​

Grow Spink and KQKD did not taking any proceeds from this event. We hoped to provide even a small amount of relief to those affected during the pandemic.
